Can You Believe These Old Things Still Work
Just because something is very old doesn’t mean it can’t still work. For instance, take the light bulb burning in a California fire station. Installed at the beginning of the 20th century, it was shining brightly well into 2017. And a family on Long Island uses an early electric stove that was built 100 years ago. But the prize for oldest useful thing may be yeast extracted from Egyptian urns. The yeast is 4,500 years old, and one man made bread with it. #InsideEdition
Teen Who Pushed Friend off Bridge Apologizes
Nineteen-year-old Taylor Smith was in tears as she was sentenced to two days in jail for pushing her friend off a 60-foot bridge in Washington state. The ruling surprised both sides. Smith had pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment earlier this month and in exchange prosecutors had recommended no jail time. But Clark County District Court Judge Darvin Zimmerman disagreed. The moment Taylor shoved her friend 17-year-old Jordan Holgerson off the bridge was captured on camera. #InsideEdition

Angry Driver Smashes Windshield of Dad With 2 Sons in Car
It’s a nightmare on the highway as a road rage incident leads to a baseball bat smashing the windshield of a man’s car as his kids scream inside. The dad says he was driving with his two sons when he was sideswiped by another vehicle on the Staten Island Expressway. Both drivers pulled over to check for damage, and that’s when things quickly deteriorated. “You’re not going to pay for my car?” the other driver says before he swings the bat. It’s the third recent highway horror involving kids. #InsideEdition
These People and Things Never Should Have Been Airborne
When high winds swept through a Denver, Colorado fair ground in 2018, this toilet took to the skies. The loo went and went, dozens of feet in the air, as if it were a kite, before crashing to earth. In the summer of 2020, a kite festival in Taiwan saw lots of aeronautics, including, unintentionally, a little girl! The 3-year-old hung on to a kite for dear life as the wind whipped her into the air. Terrified onlookers could do nothing, until a current brought her close to the ground. #InsideEdition

Footage of a barefoot 2-year-old in Florida with her arms up in the air as police arrest one of her parents is raising eyebrows. Tallahassee police pulled over a vehicle of suspected shoplifters. Two men were handcuffed while a woman was in the car. After the adults exited the vehicle, a small girl’s feet are seen dangling beneath the car door as she was trying to get out. The little girl then mimicked her father, who was under arrest, and put her hands up in the air. #InsideEdition

Goodbye Messages From People Who Thought They Were Dying
In 2016, a diver found himself treading in open water off the coast of Australia, after his tour boat left him stranded. He recorded his thoughts on his GoPro. That same year, a nurse hiking in Arizona wrote a farewell message to her parents after she fell down a cliff and broke her back. And in June of 2020, a hiker used his cellphone to muse on his situation after breaking his leg in the Joshua Tree National Park. Thankfully, all of these people survived. #InsideEdition

She questions the man behind the wheel, who claimed to be taking a nap. When Tedesco asks him to produce a driver’s license, he tells her that he doesn’t have one. What officer didn’t know at the time was that the man is a fugitive and wanted for murder. #InsideEdition
